Every Dream Has a Beginning
We know how daunting building a pool can be, but we’re here to make the process smooth and easy. Pool It Together was created from the customer's point of view.
It all started back in 2014, after a couple of years of waiting and saving, I started down the path of getting quotes to build my own pool. As a homeowner, you put a lot of faith in your pool builder to design and recommend the best products for your needs. Unfortunately, when you don't know what you need, you don't know what to question.
After meeting with multiple companies and receiving $50,000+ quote estimates (for a $35,000 pool), I knew there had to be a better way.
A coworker of mine happened to be in the process of building a pool at his home. When I asked what builder he was using, he said he was "doing it himself". This was the second time he was building a pool and told me about how much money he was saving. Since I knew nothing about this process, he offered to help me plan mine and we could "shadow" build our pools together.
I was amazed at the options, level of control, and most importantly, cost savings of building a pool this way. I was able to build a better pool than what the builders quoted while saving over $10,000+!
After purchasing my second home, I was at it again. I had no hesitation in building another pool myself. I had learned the process extensively, had built connections with all the trades, and within roughly 3 1/2 weeks I was filling up my pool with water.
After a few pool parties, friends were impressed with what I was able to accomplish and shocked at the price savings. They started asking me for help and advice on their pool projects and that's when the "American Dream" started. I liked having the ability to help people experience the same benefits that I did and decided to make a business out of it.
Our goal at Pool It Together, is to provide hard-working homeowners with the ability to build a custom pool without as many headaches. We promise transparency and honesty in our practices which is becoming a rare trait in business these days.
