Pool Shapes
Pools come in all shapes and sizes, which one do you prefer?
Ultimately, you have two main categories: Geometric or Freeform
The shape of your yard, or where your pool is going in your yard, will help determine the best shape for your pool. Geometric pools allow you to fit a larger pool into a smaller space. Freeform pools (like a kidney bean shape or any curve-based shape) require more spacing to fit in the same surface area. We can also create custom hybrid shapes that combine both geometric and freeform features.

Spa Additions
To Spa or not to Spa? That is the question.
Adding a custom spa to your pool can not only help extend the usage but also provide some therapeutic relaxation. Spas that are raised above the pool level allow you to add more personalization in your design. Different stone and tile options can help bring more of that "wow factor" into your yard, along with additional water spillover effects. Flush spas, which are the same elevation as the pool, give a more sleek and modern vibe to the design as they can seamlessly blend into your backyard design. Flush-style spas can be fit right into your pool design, so if you are looking to have a cover for your pool, a flush spa may be the best option.

Pool Surround Patio
Expand your living space so everyone can enjoy your dream.
The pool deck surrounding your pool can be as big or as small as you choose; you have full customization to only pay for the amount of patio that you need. We recommend natural stone products or porcelain paver products vs. concrete-based pavers or "cool-decking" for your decking. Natural stone products (travertine, limestone, marble, ect...) retain less heat than concrete pavers, which helps in the Arizona sun. Many paver variations are possible, including size, shape, color, pattern design, and texture to help with slip resistance. Pool It Together won't limit you to just a few paver selections; your yard/design shouldn't look the same as other pool builders' do.

Water & Fire Features
What is more relaxing than the sound of water and the warm glow of fire?
Water and fire features are where you can really get a chance to add that "wow" factor. Water features are more than looks; they can functionally help keep your pool water a little cooler during the hotter months. The sound of flowing water can help drown out background noises as well as give you that "spa" feeling in your backyard. Nothing makes your pool stand out more than some great fire features at night. Fire pots or burners can be customized to fit the shape or effect that you desire.

Decorative Tile
This is the "jewelry" of your pool; it's okay to be fancy.
Your pool tile really sets the tone for the type of design and look you want to present. Glass and porcelain tiles are going to be the two best materials to give you a long-lasting finish that is easier to maintain. The 6x6 tile is the standard option that comes in hundreds of different color choices. Smaller tiles (4x4, 3x3, 2x2, etc...) can also be used, as well as different shape tiles (8x2, 4x12, etc...). Mosaic tile sheets are another popular option to add to the variety of choices you have in your design. Just like in jewelry, you can have tile that is as bold and flashy or tile that is more simple and understated.

Landscaping
Plants, turf, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, and a fire pit will round out your yard.
With so much focus on the pool, we can't forget the rest of our yard. Pool It Together has a goal of building functional form, meaning we want to build a yard that you will actually use. Low-maintenance, artificial turf helps soften the yard against all the "hard" surfaces while providing a multi-purpose space for kids and adults to enjoy. Synthetic turf can be used right up against the pool coping, which not only gives a more unique look but also helps with slip resistance around the pool.
Adding in plants also helps "soften" the design. Whether you want a tropical, Mediterranean, or desert landscaped look, our team can help bring your vision to life.
Outdoor kitchens, fire pit seating areas, and pergola covers all help bring the indoor comforts to your outdoor living space. Visually break up your yard into entertainment zones; the pool is one zone, and how you plan to use the rest of your yard is up to you and what best fits your lifestyle.
